It has purpose built and recently redeveloped accommodation for 90 clients, with its own lab and library, disabled provision and extensive grounds which include a high ropes course. We run a variety of courses and training packages for schools, youth groups, teachers, companies and other organisations.

Arthog 'Outreach' in Telford has established itself as a challenging extended school option for local schools.

The Centre is staffed by two qualified teachers, fulltime members of the Arthog staff. They have a fleet of Open Canoes,a mobile climbing wall and a fleet of kayaks, and all the equipment to provide the activities detailed below.
They also have 2 Diesel Ford Transit minibuses, one of which is accessible to wheelchair users.

Its' base at Shortwood includes a swimming pool for kayak and canoe introduction,a sports hall which contains a modern climbing wall, and its' grounds have an orienteering course and a low ropes course, with a wheelchair accessible wall. Also in the grounds is a small area of woodland which is used as an introduction to 'Forest Schools' and 'Bushcraft'

The aims of this project are to provide high quality outdoor education opportunities for Telford children during schooltime and as part of their extended school activities. The 2 teachers use the Outreach Centre or access local Shropshire countyside for their various activities.

Mountain Biking: Some exciting local trails can provide an ideal introduction to this accessible sport.
