Advice and training

Arthog is very well known for its work with young people. What is less well known is that a significant part of our work each year is with adults.

Have a look at our Training courses, for individuals, personal development and for team development.

Courses designed to support teachers and leaders in developing their skills in supporting outdoor learning in either their own school or outdoor space.

Courses to help educate local leaders in outdoor education and safety management, from beginners to experienced leaders just needing a refresher we have a course to suit you.

Build confidence, not just competence through our first aid training. Delegates leave feeling more confident and prepared to assist across a range of first aid scenarios.

Whether you're looking to deliver your first DofE programme, or are an experienced leader wanting to update your skills and knowledge, we offer a wide range of training courses to suit you.

From navigation, group managements, emergency procedures to camp-craft and leadership skills, we have a range of courses which will provide leaders with the skills to lead groups in the outdoors.

We have worked with the local Educational Visits Coordinators to create a progressive route to allow educational staff to be able to work in the outdoors with their own students.

We undertake the teambuilding challenges, sharing leadership, but we like to allow them to lead into actual useful applications.
